I can't see any of the pics on the first page. I imagine no one else can either.

Alright so here are updates with what has been done to this truck over the last year +

First a James Duff rear bumper to match the front. It came from a broncoII so i had to fab up some brackets to make it work.

New mirrors

Kartek flip drop shackles

Bedliner! I wish i could have kept the patina but the rest of truck was already painted white by the P/O so away it went.

New Core Support! The old one was rusted out at the body mounts really bad so it had to be done.

Old

Removed!

New!

Also upgraded to polyurethane body mounts brcause the old ones looked like this! :shok:

New ones! and new rear mount brackets cause those were rusted out too :(

Installed the fiberglass hood and mocked up gen1 fiberglass fenders from Fiberwerx! took advantage of their free shipping promo! saved me a lot considering im on the east coast.

Not going to use the factory hood latch so i bought a set of Aerocatch hood pins. Just trying to figure out if i should mount them strait or at an angle? What do you guys think?

Also picked up a set of 33x10.5x15 BFG Allterrains. The question is... White letters out of black letters out?

Hood pins - straight.
White walls out. Unless you want to look like a cop.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I agree with Floored. Pins straight, white letters out.

Project is looking good.

Quick updates!
Removed old solid rear windows, cleaned up rust/painted and replaced them with pop-vent quarter windows and a sliding rear window! No A/C means getting as many open windows as possible!

Next I painted and installed an explorer 8.8 rear axle, and deaver leaf springs! The Steel-it product is amazing!

Front suspension coming this week!

Ps hopefully the picture worked, posting from my phone...

i would try to stay away from the harbor freight tube kinker, "the affordable bender" is a nice affordable replacement. i use it to bend chromoly and DOM tubing and it works really really great even though the website says its not rated for chromoly. DOM is a breeze
