1986 Ford Ranger SLT 4x4 5 Speed - Ready To Go! - $4,500 (Bluffton)
Selling Our 1986 Ford Ranger SLT 4x4 V6 5 Speed
The Ranger runs and drives awesome and is perfect to continue our project or take it to the woods for four-wheeling. Going into the Marines and can't keep it for now. A ton of work has gone into over the last year:
New Fuel Pump
Fuel Tank
Starter
Power Steering Pump
Water Pump
Fan Clutch
Thermostat, Hoses, etc.
New Clutch, plate, and bearing.
New Front Brake Pads
New Front Calipers
New Fuel Injectors
This is the 2.9L V6 Engine.
Bought the truck locally and have been driving it ever since. No A/C, it was removed for more HP. Crank windows, cool velour interior, the Ranger is totally 80's! The guy I bought it from had no idea about the history, he wanted to make a mudder out of it, but never got around to it.
The odometer shows over 400K, I really don't know if that is accurate, if it's the original engine, or what.
The windshield has a repaired crack and it needs a new wiper motor.
The truck looks cool with it's faded paint and square body. It has tons of potential. I just wanted something fun to drive before going to boot camp. I just put in a new radio and headliner. The Ranger has just over $3,000 in new parts.
We bought the truck with the lift kit as you see it. The tires are 31's on 15" alloy wheels.
I have stripped out the interior and sprayed the floor with bed liner. I used this truck for 4 wheeling and a lot of off roading around the pine forest here.
No trades please, going to boot camp and I can't take it with me.
I have the title. What you see is what you get. It takes a special person to drive these old trucks, don't call or bother if you need a Honda.
