Hello--i thought I posted this already but couldnt find it. i am replacing my ball joints and i removed the spindle from the knuckle. Problem some of the rectangle bearings fell out. it looks like the bearing is compressed inside the spindle. My problem is how do I replace the bearing. thanks in advance for your help.

Rectangle bearings? How's that work?

I think a picture or two is in order here.

If I remember right, there’s a needle bearing in there. If parts are falling out, it’s probably shot. You’ll need a new bearing and seal and they can be a pain to get out. Been awhile since I looked that stuff up and it can be a little tricky to source if I remember right. It’s just a tiny little bearing that goes in there

Think you got luckier than me, I want to say now that I think about it, I’ve had to remove all of mine splitting them with a cold chisel, a lot of cussing, and a lot of care. If you can use the words cold chisel and care together anyway, lol
