Does anyone know the "technical term" for these and where/if possible to get these? My rear windows have the metal trim and I need to remove them to clean out some debris and find a leak. I removed the bottom piece and the clips were rusted/missing...I was able to slide it back in to the sides and salvage about 2 on each but its loose.

They use the same clips on the side windows as on the windshield trim. Ford still sells them, LMC sells them, most auto parts stores sell them, windshield replacement stores sell them. If you want an adventure, try to find the steel trim parts for the side windows, hens teeth I tell you, hens teeth.

Just some examples. I used a couple from my 69 Mustang parts supply on my '85 BII and they worked fine.

This is like the tool I have to remove the trim from the clips

MAN YOU ARE THE BEST! I have the new LMC book that came in last week - I'll look them up and order...awesome! My windshield is getting replaced this Thursday - 28yr original and a rock busted it Saturday going down a gravel rd on the way to the turkey woods. That is great...I can't wait to take that trim off, seal up some leaks and replace the window trims that have come off in a carwash 2x not to mention the rattle rattle rattle...I have to watch them all the time in the side mirrors to make sure they didn't fly off! Awesome; thank you!
