Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
The plastics on my 110 are super easy to take off to kick start it, are the 125 plastics more difficult? Still, its not optimal.

The kick start will also interfere with the rear tire, unless you widen it up.

If I went that route I would probably get the pull start kit and just be done with it.

Did some rearranging in the chicken house to make room for my pickup bed, while I had it out I did some looking at my 110.

Will need isolator bushings for the drive sprocket



Somebody added a twist throttle to it which is of course broken and the cable is seized. Thumb throttle is still on the handlebar so I need a throttle cable for that and both grips.



Handlebar brake handle is broken, it does have the parking brake clip though. I don't even remember our old one having one, it might get deleted. Cable is good for that though...



Not much to them without the plastic and tank (need bushings for the fuel tank)



Mice have been into the wiring going to the engine.



So I pulled the headlight off to check to see if we still had connections from A to B.

Yeah, I was as surprised as you are the headlight bulb was bad...



But yeah, the wiring still goes where it needs to go so I think a little heat shrink will fix that.

It needs a lot which I knew when I initially bought it for parts... but not turning around yet on reviving this thing. Just a bunch of piddly crap, the voodoo that is the rear axle is kind of daunting though. I know there is an adjustment to the rear axle but for the motion the thing has and the growl when it rolls I bet the bearings are toast.

The rear carrier bearings are some of the easiest bearings I've ever had to replace. First whack of the dead blow and they come flying right out. Got new ones from ebay for like 12$ shipped.

Ready to operate:





Motor is in with magneto fields:





Not sure if farmer fran didn't get the frame straight when he welded it back together or if he didn't get the front engine bracket right when he rebuilt that but the front engine mount just barely doesn't fit. I made the hole quite a bit bigger and it still won't go. Debating on if a regular factory one would fit better or not.

Done for today.



Now I need to add oil figure out the wiring, rebuild the carb and see what I have before proceeding too much farther.
