1983 Ford ranger 2.3 carburetor 4 speed short bed 2 wheel drive

Need some info buying 88 tbird 2.3 turbo with 5 speed computer and harness have been cut so my idea is to rebuild motor if needed tearing down any to inspect can I buy the efi conversion kit to carb run the 5200 Holley / motorcrat carb and with fuel regulator and put electric fuel pump in my ranger I have look into the dura spark set up but not to good at it and do I need to change oil pan to fit my truck my ranger is non ps and no power brakes

Sorry for the confusion I'm wanting to swap 88 2.3 turbo in my truck with 5 speed the 88 harness has been cut out some I want to go carb

Depending on what part has been cut. Possibly the part cut, you do the need and have on the Ranger. I know it's been done. You're starting out with some issues already and don't know your skill level, but patience will be needed, I'm sure.

Harness has been cut out completely computer box only thing not cut rest of motor is there minus the inner cooler. the 5 speed all intact I'm wanting to run a carb turbo set up on my ranger since theres no harness to do the efi hook up too. what all can I do for my options .. I have two other 2.3 n/a I can use parts.. I looked in 3 junk yards no luck on complete harnesses to go efi
