well finally made some progress in the last couple of weeks gents. sorry for not updating you guys for a while but she had to take a back seat to life and work but being layed for the winter made things a little simpler.

I thought I had subcribed but forgot to click the right box. That sure looks good! Had to go back thru and read the comments. My first truck was a "full size" like your's but a '39' Dodge. Eleven leafs a side on the rear and seven up front. Crank out windsheild, one wiper. Good thing is that someone had stuck a 283 in it.

I sure wish I did. Do have an old '50' F-1 cab and parts in the barn, was thinking of something like this. Not enought time. Believe it's a on a full size frame. Ranger ext cab WB is within an inch and width close also.

I just re-found this thread myself.....

FYI......while I was doing all the drivetrain work, I brought the hard-to-do body parts to a local paint shop (since I have no bodywork experience).....

by the time he had the parts done /painted, I was getting my part of the project running....

it worked out good....here's a pic of half the paint work done....I was on the "pay-as-you-go program....LOL
