hello community!
I checked the temperature of my new hubs when i was out today crawling around in a mixture of 4 low/high and my hubs were hot to the touch, so one side was 161 and the other was 166 degrees. I am running a 96 ranger 4x4 4.0 on 35's with the warn jeep hub swap. what is the normal temps on these hubs? I also checked the 2 axle/bearing retaining nuts, first one finger tight then the spacer/locker, and the second nut as tight as i could get it, i watched to make sure the first nut never spun when cranking down on the other. I also put a new bearing in the driver side packed with grease but i did not replace the race.... any ideas why they are so hot?
