My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Reasonably priced doesn't necessarily mean affordable.

That said, I think this is somewhat reasonable..albeit unaffordable.

That much carbon bodywork isn't cheap.

Widebody Kits for small Japanese cars sell for near 10 thousand, obviously not including install.. Which isn't cheap either.

12.5" of front suspension travel is big money too.

Even the Bumper, which is the least noteworthy bit of the package im sure would be 2000+ by itself 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, you pay dearly but you are getting more than a level, stickers and different colored tow hooks too.

Looking at what is offered in the package, it's probably a fair price. Not my cup of tea for sure but everything they listed doesn't come cheap. I'm sure the repair bill after an accident would be quite expensive as well. Someone with money to burn would buy it.

They put that on the lot and people will be parting with their money. It appears there is way more then body panels, wheels and tires.

In the photos... they show an in bed storage drawer system. I sure would like something like that for my truck. I don't think it comes with the package... perhaps just one of their offerings.

oh wow. ANOTHER variant off road package for the Ranger. IF the Raptor ever comes to the states, it will be drowned by the 23 other off road variants and off road packages available. HOW MANY TIMES WILL THEY DO THIS.
You got from ford - 3 stages of "Ford Performance" upgrades; FX2 (off road for 2wd); FX4; STX;
then you have - Hennessy, RTR, Black Widow, and I'm sure I left some out, because I got tired of looking for Off Road variants of the Ranger. I also did not include the tuners and other little shops and dealers that will "build" Raptor clones.

If there wasn't demand the aftermarket wouldn't exist.

I couldn't imagine a $16k package though, I am more into $16k trucks...

I know there is a demand, but it is also a supply issue. US wants/demands a "Raptor" so we get supplied with 25 Raptor wannabees. If they supplied 5 different street/GT models, the demand would go up and then there would be 25 companies making "lightning" clones.
It's like the 50 shades of gray they offer in colors, 1 red, 1 blue and every shade of gray you can imagine. I haven't seen a green truck, from the factory since the 90's, and if you want a red Ranger, you have to buy the most expensive trim and package, the pay an extra $600 for RED, & only 1 red option. There used to be red, burgundy, and garnet available. There used to be 3 hues of blue at any given time, Midnight blue, light blue, and everyone's favorite "electric' blue, now 1 blue option. there used to be teal green AND forest green. The Splash models had specific colors, but still had Red/orange, Yellow, blue, OR Purple to choose from. Now they have that ugly copper/gold/orange combo that pops up in every ad that makes people want that color.
As far as THIS $16,000.00 ad on, it's just another shade of gray for the 4wd community. IF/WHEN the Raptor does come to the US, what will happen to all these knock-offs?
Be different, that's all.

Oh, you can find green... just gotta look over the fence:

Like the FORD Red, that green Toyota is only available on the most expensive models. but I can argue with a tree, so I'll just read and quit typing.

I haven't followed them that close, usually (like with Cement and Cavalry Blue) they were a TRD Pro (maybe Limited too but who cares about Limiteds) only color for the first year or two and then they opened it up after that.

I kinda wrote off midsizes about the time "Army Green" came out and quit following the offbreeds.

FWIW it doesn't look the part but Ford does make the second fastest truck ever right now, the F-150 Limited received the Raptor 3.5 EB and only answers to the old SRT10 Ram in the quarter mile.

I'll have to check this truck you speak of out. On a similar note, I saw a "Rousche" f-150 today in traffic. Lifted, fender flares, oversized wheels and "mud" tires, total Raptor wannabee. IMO, Rousche is supposed to be a street tuned truck, just like the Rousche mustang, fast. On another side note, I saw a youtube vdo where the stock Raptor f150 beat a stock Shelby 350 in drag race.
