Took some new pics today, as this weekend it is going under the knife for my turbo swap. Just mowed the lawn, so it seemed like a good idea to take them out there.

Tell me about it!! LOL!! Thats the highest 2wd ranger I think I have ever seen, that wasnt trying to be a 4x4 at least!! The suspencion is so jacked up and stiff, it barely squats with weight in it! It does handle like its on rails though!! The last owner put some nice swaybars and stuff under it, and it is really well planted. After the swap, if money and the ball-an-chain allow, a belltech 3/4 will be under it, to tame it down some.

wow that is really clean looking....how does that sub sound? I just got a kicker L5 with a 1200w amp and it thumps pretty good.

Its not bad, for how small it is, and its running off like a 300w amp, lol. But its about all you can get into a reg cab ranger. Im getting some engine whine through my tweeters I have setup behind the driver and passengers head, so once that is fixed, it will be pretty clean.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

sick truck, man. i'd definitely drop it some. i agree with andres629, 2" drop should do it well.

although i'm involved with the off road scene, i wouldn't mind having a truck i could drop, just for shits and giggles lol

They are factory 96 cobra rims. 17x9 if I remember right. Really help in the handling department with the wide meats.

I think it needs more drop than what it appears. Im parked on fairly soft ground, as its been pretty wet here in maine the last few weeks. I think the 3/4 will be the winning ticket. But ill get some measurements on hard ground just to get a good idea where it really sets.

The new grill that the previous owner bought, didnt come with one, and I am having a hard time finding one that fits. I have one that is close, but I would have to trim down to size, and I dont really want to do that. Not sure how im going to replace it yet.

Not sure about the sway bar. Not really sure everything that is done to the suspension either. The previous owner had a friend that used to race circle track with rangers, and had a crap load of racing stuff given to him, and it all went into this truck. Im trying to get back ahold of him, but he is a sneaky little bugger. He has a full list written up of what went into it, but I forgot to grab it when I bought it.

Here is a pic of the truck on solid ground. As you can see, it sits high enough to make some 4x4's jealous!!!

I think the 3/4 will be perfect!
