My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
there were some tuned 2020 rangers with aftermarket exhaust and intakes/cooler on race fuel and drag radials running 12.70's last summer. closed event mostly older cars but i seen some phone clips... those ones were 2wd too from a private tuner from around detroit doing some proto work...not livernois.. that is damn impressive. they were beating all of the older mustangs.

they said there were some bone stock 4x4's running 14's...which....is also impressive. and newer f150's running 11's...ac on and windows up....unknown mods...but daily drivers. to me that is crazy.

in the land of 800 hp cars off of the dealer showroom floor....it seems these days...to make putting a v8 in a ranger...come across as pedestrian....maybe ubiquitous

my daughters boyfriend has an alpha 9. cold street tires on a cold street launch it can turn 10's....

never thought i would see that happen.

a 400 hp gen 1 reg cab with ok traction will run 12's easy and better dialed in.

at 320-30 crank...14.20 was my best in a 1988 4x4 on 31's 4.56 gear spooled prepped for best performance at the strip.

stock trucks do that now....
