Well after about 18 hours of curse words, the lift is finally done. Pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Really well actually! Probably cause now my torsion bars aren't cranked up and i actually have some downward travel.

That's great! I also intend to go with the Superlift soon, so I was just curious. Mine's a 96 so it's a different kit.

That flex looks awesome, tho!

Ya Ive heard good things about Superlift in general. My kit seemed to be of good quality. Only thing is some fasteners were missing. No big deal.

I really wish they would make a kit to replace the torsion bars though. Mine look like they hang so low now due to the fact that they have to be dropped with the lower control arms. I lose alot of clearance beacuse of it. You can really notice it in this picture.
You wont have that problem with TTB though. I plan to swap to coilovers once I have the cash anyways.

Holy crap, that does hang low. I'd be worried about forgetting they are there and damaging them.

Ya. Really they are at the stock height. The rest of the truck went up 4 inches and they stayed down low. I've only wheeled once with the lift and I already dragged them a couple times. But just think, if I break them, I HAVE to upgrade to coilovers :icon_idea:

Went on a trip up to the Mara Mountain Lookout with the Okanagan Trail Blazers. Would have been a great view if it wasnt for the thick fog and hail. Other than the weather it was a good day out. Quite a wide variety of rigs. It was very rocky but the ranger did awesome :headbang:
I did drag the torsion bars countless times though...so lets just say coilovers are coming a lot sooner than I anticipated.:icon_bounceblue:

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Wow! What a beautiful place!

For a long time I have wanted to get rid of my valence, but it looked awful with the body lift. So I finally decided to come up with a solution. First I rerouted my tranny cooler lines up higher. For some reason Ford ran them way down low by the skid plate. Then I cut and raised up the skid plate to eliminate the huge gap above it. Next I am going to paint the cross member and frame black and ill probably end up trimming the ends of the bumper to get rid of those pieces that hang down.

Someday Ill also get a single row light bar and mount it in my grill to take the place of the fog lights I just removed. My 20" double row got stolen a few months back, along with my pods I had on the rear bumper.

Anyways heres my progress.
