07 pontiac vibe wont start after running

this is the second time this has happened to us. our vibe will start up just fine in the morning or after sitting for a while. I went to walmart tonight ( 1 mile away) was in there about 15 min started up just fine went next door to safeway was in there about 10 min came out to go home and the car would not start. had to walk home luckily i was only a mile away

put ranger insignia on it that should do the trick..

have you checked spark. fuel pressure, relays and electrical connections etc...

yes but you will have to check spark etc.. when it won't start to give you direction.. try swapping relays with known good relays and see if problem goes away.... would be the first thing i would do.

When you say "won't start", I assume it's cranking over, which would eliminate batt and starter?

The 'Left to sit for a while or first thing in the morning' sounds like 'vapor lock' in an old carbureted car, or a flooding issue.

Fuel pressure regulator on its way out maybe?

What are the temps where you're located when this occurs?

Only time I had this happen it was a relay Most time I see a dead car on the road side its an old Pontiac.
