Hey guys, im having some trouble with a few things and am hoping this site will be my solution. It doesnt apear that anybody has adressed my issue so i figured id just bring it up. i have recently purchased a 2006 ford ranger xlt extended cab with a 4.0 auto and 2wd.
My question is about swapping out the seats in the truck for something with a taller back, and headrest. im 6'10 and find legroom to be plentiful, but my head usually sits on the roof and the top of the stock seat hits me at the base of my skull. i dont really have a problem with driving it like this, but it would be nice to have something taller for me, so i can relax my neck on long drives.
im looking for a list of years and makes of cars or trucks that have tall seats and i can swap them in. i can do some minor modifications, but i dont wanna be building my own brackets. if theres nothing im going to end up taking the seats out of my dads 2003 cadillac cts when he scraps it, and have a shop put them in custom as the are amazing.
just something that sits really low to the floor, is tall enough for my head, and thats gonna be safe.
Thanks,
Nate
