'05 arctic cat m5 sled build up

this is my 2005 arctic cat m5 liquid cooled, carb'd, 141" track with 1.6 lug, sno stuff stinger can(want full exhaust someday) 3.5" risers, speedwerx clutch kit and Klim graphics not yet installed

first when i got it;




later that winter;




with a ranger i was looking at buying and eventually did


and how she is now






and we had enough snow the other day for me to take her out around the grass just after i got her running after the summer but all that snow is gone again now but we should be getting some more real soon.

Needs more motor, Gwaii could probably suggest something suitable. 302 or a psd perhaps.

lately been just replacing bushings and had to replace pivot idler arm. and just got my new shock in today so im off to put that in now..

looks good. i had every intention on getting a sled this winter... never happend and now the snows leaving. maybe next year, but if all goes well i hop i dont get a sled next year because it'll mean i got somthing much more fun in the fall :icon_thumby:

what a pita that was, i got the shock put on but still need to get a bushing kit. they are all pretty much gone. i replaced a couple but i still need 2 more for the front susp arms. should have her out for the weekend. hope to get the graphics kit on next week

i wasn't being serious......but i bet it could be done, i wouldnt know, i've never seen a snow mobile
ah well for what its worth it probally could be done especialy with this model or any with the long arm and coils... but it wouldnt be functional and theres no way to make it 4wd
