How do I go about removing the rotors on my 03 after I have the calipers off? My hanes manual is useless.

after the calipers or off there is like a washer on two studs or there was on mine. then you just take those off and it slides right off.

Do you have the caliper mounting brackets off?

Other than that there isn't much holding them on.

Kinda off topic but forget about the Chilton's manual too. So far it hasn't helped me do a damn thing

AllanD thats what I figured, take the caliper mounting brackets off and use a little coaxing from a BFH. Thanks

Yeah, do keep a lookout for those sheet metal "bolt retainers"
that they use as a factory assembly aid to keep the rotors from falling off
and landing on someone's foot in the assembly plant.

Ford used the same type of clip to hold the locking hubs on.

I actually took the time to get some of those clips, because I hate having the lockout hubs come off when I change tires.
