No, no way to by-pass or eliminate PATS on 2002 Ranger that would be cheaper than just getting 2 new keys
If you are computer savvy and have a laptop you can use Forscan software, its not too expensive, you also need the OBD to USB cable to hook laptop to the vehicle to add 2 new keys to the Ranger's computer
You also need a new key cylinder with matching PATS keys
You can order lock sets on-line, 2 PATS keys, 2 DOOR locks and 1 ignition cylinder
Because you also need door keys???
As for, the quickest fix, that would be to get a Mobile Locksmith to come to the Ranger, one that has Ford software on a laptop
You still need the new ignition cylinder
He can cut new PATS keys and then add them to the Ranger computer
You need to add at least TWO new keys, can't do just one, unless you already have one
