Hey everybody so the last Ranger I posted on here got tons of feedback which I really appreciated from you all so I’m back again with a much better opportunity.

I stumbled upon a ‘93 Long Bed 6 cylinder 4.0 With 191K miles for $2,300, feel like I can talk em down to $2,000 idk why.

I’m a complete novice when it comes to cars/trucks but I’m driven to learn as much as I can. The only real issue I’m seeing throughout these pics, aside from the little dent on the front bumper which I’m told is from hitting a pole in a parking lot, is the rust on the undercarriage and that it’s not 4WD which is what I’m kinda looking for.

Seller says that’s usual rust and that the frame seems sturdy.

All feedback always welcomed!

I swear I've seen a truck out here in Plano looks just like that.

It will need rear spring hangers/shackles and spring bushings at a minimum. Probably will need all new brakes lines too... the salt here eats them up.

Looks well worth 2000 bucks to me. Yea that rust is fairly typical, hard to find a truck of that vintage with no rust unless its from out in the desert. Frame does look solid, needs shackles and hangers which are cheap and easy to fix. (Grind off rivets and bolt on new hangers).

BUT... if you want 4x4 I wouldn't settle unless you really need a truck now.

Other than a little rust repair, it looks like a decent truck. Welcome to the club.

last fall I bought a 93 Ranger for $2000. It has 4wd a paint matching topper and very little rust, and I named it Barney because he is purple. I think you should try to talk him down because of the rust. I do like the explorer seats and the interior is fantastic.

Are those factory seats and will they fit in a Gen1/2?
