Got an ‘86 Bronco 2 that I am gonna make a mud truck. Looking to run 35s on it. Will get a 2” or 3” body lift and not afraid to cut the body to make the tires fit. Have eyes on a ‘78 Fullsized Bronco to pull the Dana HP 44 front and 9” rear end, C6 tranny, NP 205 T-case and 351M motor from. Anybody done this project and have any tips, other than the perceived notion the 351m is a low compression turd? Any help is appreciated.

Might not be exactly what you're doing.... but this build thread is a good one.

Lots of inspiration to build a Bronco II...

Thanks. This was an interesting read. Good looking Bronco. Looks like a lot of time and skill went into that project.

Finally able to tear into it. Hoping to get it running with OEM motor first. Get it off the trailer and go from there.
