Driveline Whirr/Whine [‘96 Ranger 2.3l 4cyl 2wd 5 speed 170k]
RPM specific noise. No tachometer so we’ll go based off of gear and speed. Occurs when decelerating in: 2nd gear at 15mph 3rd gear at 27mph 4th gear at 47mph Purchased in March 2021. Driveline issues and ring and pinion kit?
So I’m injured and can only do so much, so I had an inspection done at a driveline shop. I’m pretty sure these guys were stoned because it was 4/20. I’m almost sure they left it in neutral and tried to tell me there was to much play in in my rear driveline, moving it side to side and sliding it...- vonD1025
