Found it intake gaskets did not seal.

Heads were checked, intake is flat with proper gap at front and rear ,torque is good. Pulled intake and gaskets did not seal. The surface was too smooth. Fixed it now just waiting for rain to stop to put it back together. Thank You Tim

Try the ignition switch. Mine completely fell apart. also see if you have 12volts to the wire that goes to the solenoid s post when the key is turned to the start position.

I am looking for an 83tm head that is a good core. One of mine has two big cracks in it. unrepairable. My block is at the shop being bored so it is to late to change directions. any help would be greatly appreciated. Tim
