FM145 to M5OD
I have an 87 Ranger STX. I cant really find much info on this swap. What would be involved to do the swap?? From what I can find, the M5OD should bolt right on with a new floor plate. But I have a feeling that something else would be need. Any help would be nice. Thanks.- SamFisher

Knock Sensor
I bought a knock sensor from China because I had no choice in the matter. The knock sensor on the 2.9 is discontinued. But the sensor from China didnt work. I have a question. Would it be possible to jury rig another two wire sensor. Maybe from a 90's pathfinder??- SamFisher

Distributor and Power Problems
Idle and Power Problems I just bought an 1987 Ranger STX 2.9 liter 5 speed. When I bought it is had an valve cover leak from a broken bolt. But was still able to test drive it. She ran fine, just leaked oil. So I towed it 200 miles home. Got the bolt out, and new gasket. Went for a test drive...- SamFisher
