Can someone tell where I can find written specs on what the compression numbers should be on a 98 2.5?Have to have written proof this year to pass tech for compression.Every thing I,ve read says 165 lbs for a fresh,stock engine but no factory numbers or repair manuals,anubody got anything written?

I need to get a aerosol can of touch up paint for my 98 ranger,I don't have the paint code on the door anymore.i believe it is Brt Alantic Blue.I found 2 numbers for this code,a K7 and M6863A.Are these both the same color?Anybody found a decent match aerosol paint?

Heres a picture of our 2010 race truck.truck is a 98 2.5.Ran it 6 times so far,(1)1 broken spring perch,(2)a win,(3)hit the wall and blew a tire,(4)2nd win,(5)got in contact with another truck and blew a tire and (6)we won the last race.Hoping maybe that we get the Ranger Station back on board...

We got a 98 2.5 that we are going to race this year and thinking about unhooking the power steering pump.Have any of you guys had a bad pump and had to run it without it?I know the older ones with a box steered hard,but what about one with a rack?

Well, going to try a newer ranger this year,a 98 2.5.should work pretty good with the A arms and rack and pinion.Was going to pull the dash as in the older ranger but see that there is a lot of fiberglass supports under there.Anybody had the whole dash out?Heater system?Any ideas?

Is the 94 tube header a direct bolt in for the older 8 plug head?To the exhaust pipe?O2 sensor?

Was all the 98 ,99 2.5 rangers power racks?Did they have a manual rack?They just upped the elgible truck to race at the track to 98,s and think we will build a new one.Anybody got a wore out 98-99 2.5?
