Cruise control cable 1988 Ford Ranger
My cruise control cable is starting to fray, damn thing almost blew up my motor when the throttle got stuck on the floor. I don't want to disconnect it though, since I drive 70 miles a day for work. Anyone have one for sale?- backerm

intermittent high idle
I've got a 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4, 2.3L. Been having this problem for over a year intermittently. But for the past 3 months it has been happening the same way every time I start it up. It revs to 2000 rpm. When I turn the ignition off and then start it back up after it warms up. Then it idles...- backerm
