Hey guys. I am planning on a 97 Explorer 5.0 swap to my 97 Ranger, using a t-5. I want to use the computer and wiring from the Exp to keep it simple. Can the computer be reprogramed for the manual transmission ?- macenc

2000 to 2001 2.5 swap
I have found a 2001 Ranger with a bad 2.5 and I have a 2000 that is wrecked with a good 2.5. Both 5 speed trucks. Are they identical engines ? Are these an easy swap ? If they are different, how ?- macenc

97 Explorer 5.0 to 97 Ranger
I am going to have many questions as we do this swap. I do have the complete Explorer for any thing needed. The first is to verify that I need an oil pan from a Mustang, correct ? Is there valve cover clearance issues ? Motor mounts needed from a 5.0 convertable ? I do want to run a T5...- macenc
