I just bought a Dual xhd7714. I'm wiring it up now. The adapter harness has a orange & a orange / white wire (dimmer & illumination). The Dual radio harness has no orange, just Black Red Blue Yellow & Speakers. Should I leave the orange out or wire it somewhere else?? :icon_cheers:

I purchased an Optima red top at Pep boys yesterday at a good price as an OEM replacement for my 00 4.0 Ranger. Trouble is, the battery is a little taller & narrower than stock. It doesn't bolt down securely in the engine compartment w/out me making mods. Are all Optima(s) like this or did...

I've been driving my 2000 4.0 4x4 Ranger for 3 years w/ no trouble other than a new thermostat. The oil level on the dip stick always reads very high, like an inch above the hatch marks. ??? :icon_confused: Could I have the wrong dip stick, or why would this be? It has 133,000 miles...
