    Explorer transmission work as well I would assume. I found a 2003 explorer transmission from a 4.0l 4x4 that seems like it would be a perfect choice.

    Need to figure out what to do, the transmission slips a lot hard to tell what gears work correctly.

    I have had quite a few rangers of the years, all 4x4, 85 4cyl, 91 v6, and now a 2002 with an automatic. It is in good cosmetic shape, but needs a good transmission and a CV boot on the front.

    Hoping somebody can help me. I found a 99 5r55e out of explorer would be in easy swap in to a 2002 ranger 4x4? Ford has to many different small changes. Thank you.
