80/90 however you may want to go synthetic just because you have that option they didn't have in 79 and your running gear will love you in Ohio winters way down South. Also be mindfull if you need friction modifier for the rear diffy. Most diffy's will have the fill/check port on the cover or...
Back then there was a rash of this mystery, the bowl doe's have a filter/screen inside it that is not accessible. I believe I and other old timer TRS guys came up with a part # that did have a removable bowl, hell even getting the part was cool so folks didn't have to cut fuel lines.

They tend to have to a rear rake because they are smaller vehicles now trying to pack a load. The rear springs are progressive as heck and will ride pretty good no load (Not Buckboard) and not squawt and drag bumper super loaded. It's a middle ground place that you have to figure out yourself...
