My tach does not respond. It moves as the rpms go up, but its not correct. I already tried to swap it for another unit. Where does the tach get its signal from on a motor with a coil pack?

For those of you who who are running coils with your 44, what did you have to do? I plan to us the buckets from the 78 FSB the axle came from, but do they need to be spaced outward or new perches made on the axle? What is the width difference between the coils from a 35 to a 44?
I know most people run a 1350 as their doubler because they had a 1354 stock. I had planned on installing a 1354 planetary set into a 1350 housing, but I wanted to do this on the unit that sees more stress. So which is it, the doubler or the transfer case?

What would you recommend? I see some kits using .250 wall DOM, but while pricing parts individually, I am finding parts to build with .120 wall a lot easier. Just wondering what other have built theirs out of.
I am trying to upgrade my master to a 95+ Ex master. Here's my problem. One of the lines on the B2 is a 1/2" fitting, the Ex fittings are both 3/16". What do I need to do? I have already looked for an adapter at O'reilly and AZ, and did a search on here and couldn't find any specific info.
I picked up a spare axle shaft a while back thinking both sides were the same. Now I need the opposite side and I am not sure which one I currently have. Anyone know the length of each shaft? The tech library doesn't say anything about the 31 spline shafts.
