I made the decision to commit to the transmission replacement. The remanufactured transmission arrived at the Aamoco shop today and I dropped off the truck.

In fall 2021, I replaced the stock Ford radio with a Pioneer car stereo and the buzzing from the speedo was gone. The same antenna cable was reused as-is. My theory is that there was some kind of shielding defect with stock Ford radio.
