Have parts from a 97 Ranger I acquired. I only needed the frame. 2.3 motor, auto trans, harness, ecu, front bumper, and 7.5 with 4.10 gearing. All for $200. Come get it out of my way. Will separate.

Guess who's still around :icon_cheers:
I have a pile of parts I'm going to throw together and hope it works. Some will remember I lost my B2 over 2 years ago in a garage fire. Been collecting and sitting on parts for my next rig.

Picked this up for $400. Was planning to build my own, but the cost of 2 axles would have run me close to what I got this for.
Its 14x7, 2 6 lug axles with electric brakes.
After looking at it, the guy needed to clear all his stuff off.
Got it home. Also had a full width 8.8 in the bed of...
My tach does not respond. It moves as the rpms go up, but its not correct. I already tried to swap it for another unit. Where does the tach get its signal from on a motor with a coil pack?
Also swapped in 3.73s. Currently have a black 20 tooth gear. What gear should I be looking for to correct...
So I picked up a 91 Ranger XLT on Sunday. 2.3, 5 speed, 2wd, single cab, long bed.
No huge plans for it at the moment other than a drop, but then we all know how the B2 build went as well.

And one next to the B2.

Ok so we picked up a 96 Explorer control trac 4wd with I believe a 4r55e. Did a full tune up which included tranny filter and fluid. Not a flush.
Now transmissions are not my strong point. I've swapped manuals and replaced several clutches, but anything internal I have not messed with. Add the...
So I was doing a little research and it seems I need certain Chevy or Jeep knuckles for high steer. The 2 sites I found said there is no enoungh room on Ford knuckles to mount the brackets. And based on the pictures they provided, I believe them. The problem is my knuckles don't look like the...
For those of you who who are running coils with your 44, what did you have to do? I plan to us the buckets from the 78 FSB the axle came from, but do they need to be spaced outward or new perches made on the axle? What is the width difference between the coils from a 35 to a 44?
I know most people run a 1350 as their doubler because they had a 1354 stock. I had planned on installing a 1354 planetary set into a 1350 housing, but I wanted to do this on the unit that sees more stress. So which is it, the doubler or the transfer case?
I need an app to track while I am on the trails. I have tried a couple that are for cyclists, but neither are really working the way I need. Anyone have one they use? Needs to be for Windows Mobile not Andriod.
Not sure if I should post here or in the transfer cases section. But I am looking for advice about your rear driveshaft. Help me get a better understanding for what I will be up against. Post some pics of your driveline angles, problems you've had, and what you have done to fix them. Even if...
What would you recommend? I see some kits using .250 wall DOM, but while pricing parts individually, I am finding parts to build with .120 wall a lot easier. Just wondering what other have built theirs out of.
I am trying to upgrade my master to a 95+ Ex master. Here's my problem. One of the lines on the B2 is a 1/2" fitting, the Ex fittings are both 3/16". What do I need to do? I have already looked for an adapter at O'reilly and AZ, and did a search on here and couldn't find any specific info.
I picked up a spare axle shaft a while back thinking both sides were the same. Now I need the opposite side and I am not sure which one I currently have. Anyone know the length of each shaft? The tech library doesn't say anything about the 31 spline shafts.
Well I borrowed my mom's trailer to move a few months ago and ever since then it has been at my house and I keep finding uses for it. I also was in the market for a 2wd Ranger for a project and also so I could haul stuff. Well I have decided to wait a while on the Ranger since work has slowed...
Well its about a week early, but I have now owned my B2 for a whole year. It is my first 4x4 and man has it come a long way.
The day I brought her home. Stock minus 30" Trail Diggers.
