Working on getting a 2.3 ecoboost to run standalone. Have PATS removed from the PCM and had a go today and getting it running. It starts… but won’t throttle. Have used the original throttle pedal. I have pcm pun outs but could do with the grounds and feeds for the whole engine. Anyone know where...
Ok… I’m going to try and run it tomorrow. I’ve had the PATS removed from the ECM. Between the two of us we should get it sorted! I have the pcm pin outs.
Dying to know how you are getting on with ECM. The mustang engine is much simpler with a mechanical waste gate on the turbo. Did you remove the electronic waste gate to use the mustang loom and control pack?
I’ve done 6 R2.8 swaps and I won’t do any more. It’s a terrible engine! The support is awful, parts impossible to get. Waited 4 months for a water pump last year! It’s the reason I’m in this forum… looking to use the 2.3 ecoboost instead of the R2.8!
