  1. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

I plan to take it to Rouch Creek once it is done. Once the turbo and injectors are done it will be close to 500 ft lbs. just a little nervous about blowing that 8.8 and 44 apart with that kind of torque. I plan to sell both of them once they are out and ready.
  2. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

Yea I am hoping to find a local jeep guy that wants to upgrade to unload it on lol. Hoping to have it back on the road around the new year. But will not be too highway friendly so I just want it for a little snow fun.
  3. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

And the saga continues... King Pin D60 - GM 14 Bolt. Going to need to swap out the gearing for something a little more diesel friendly. Bought them fully rebuilt with 5.38s So out with the old, pictured above...and in with the new! Also swapping in a ZF-5 and a 203/205 doubler.
  4. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

The never ending project...... its back on all 4! Need to adjust the rates, not sure if the springs needs to be replaced or not. Really not happy with FOA, I charged the shocks and came back to the truck about 2 weeks later and found a puddle of oil on my floor! Shaft seal is shot.
  5. Coilover mount concerns

What are you coilover guys thoughts on something like this? I unfortunately can not test the clearance because the shocks are charged. Do you think running this would have issues with tire clearance? 35" most likely will be the largest I go, currently have 33s. The lower mount I may round the...
  6. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

First time using sketch up so don't hate too much!
  7. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

Bout F'n Time! Well after a long ass time, the front is mocked up. Just need to measure out the ride length height and figure out where the bottom coil over mount is going to end up. I am thinking of running plate from the C on an angle down like 4" into the axle tube and mount it closer to the...
  8. 4bt swap -- 95 Explorer

I don't mind the mud, but my bike would sink and seize in that deep of a hole! I like trails/tracks over mud pits :icon_thumby:

  12. 4bt ranger

Heyy easy there! July will make it a year haha. I told him I need it back for Carlisle
  13. 4bt ranger

Mine is an all black 94, there is a video floating around somewhere. I am expecting to get the truck back from the shop sometime early July.
  14. 4bt ranger

I had to lift my 94 in order to not modify the pan from hitting any stock cross members. You can reverse the pan and instal a different oil pick up tube to make it a rear sump. There are A bunch of different ways to set it up and different options like BW just said above.
  15. 4bt ranger

Depends on the year, your suspension, engine location. Your question is too broad.
  16. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

Anyone you can get for a decent price in good shape, they stopped making them in 04/05 I think. I had an M5 and it did fine at stock/pump mods only, but while its at the shop getting the suspension work done I am having a ZF-5 put in. (more power in future) As for oil pan, a lot of guys just...
  17. 4BT '94 Ranger & EB D44 SAS (no56k)

  19. 5.9 12v cummins in 1992 ford ranger 4x4

    Fits like a latex glove!
  20. 5.9 12v cummins in 1992 ford ranger 4x4

So whats not to like about a 4bt? lighter, takes up less real-estate, easily handles 400-500 ft./lbs. staying reliable. Wish ya luck with it, it's going to take a lot of :icon_welder:  :bawling: :dunno: :icon_idea:  to get a project of that caliper done!
