According to the wiring diagram the red wire joins up with a bunch of wires and then originates from the computer is that correct?

So the red wire will only have power for two seconds or is it a different wire that energizes the relay and flips the switch

    Cranky “Moose” 2.9l

I thought the eec relay is turned on with the ignition then it runs through the computer then through the fuel pump relay ABS the computer work like a timer telling the pump to only fire for 2 seconds and not run again until a certain rpm is reached.

There is a wire that's been disconnected 😮 I thought it ran the radio or something. I will double check when I get home.

I jumpered it and the pump stays going I then had fuel in the fuel rail. Tried starting and would not start. Turned off pump right away because I'm scared it was gonna break a line or something lol

Tried that, I hear and feel a clicking from the ECM relay, pump still does not run.

Both pumps work. When I bypass on the fuel pump relay connector I can get the pump to run. Pump does not run when the key is switched on.
