84 2.8 leaking from oil filter or somewhere near/around it. Oil filter has droplets of oil when the motor is off.
For anyone that may need to know, I damaged my thrust washer when reinstalling my oil filter adapter on my 83 2.8 ranger. The washer can be replaced with Dorman- HD solutions copper drain plug gasket #095-5002CD. I found a 3 pack on Amazon for $14 but looking the part up on the Dorman site it...- nineball67
