  1. Unidentified part in driveway

I tried, but saw nothing unusual. I guess I will just leave it at that and watch for more pieces in the future 🔭 Thank you guys!
  2. Unidentified part in driveway

Took a look at some breight drums online. They do look quite rusty after 100k km / 60k miles, so maybe it could be from my car? Can I check the brake drums' weights without taking off the tires?
  3. Unidentified part in driveway

Good idea. As I just got my wheels 6 months ago, those really couldn't come from my car and look (and break) like that.
  4. Unidentified part in driveway

Understood. Strang thing is: I found one piece on Monday (see photo), looked over the whole driveway and thought I found nothing else. Then on Monday night I found a few more pieces in a spot I should definately have seen in the morning. Nothing else was in the driveway that day. But you guys...
  5. Unidentified part in driveway

Thank you for your replies. It's not 40 years old, but it really seems to come from my Ranger as my wife's car never went the place I found them... I'll take (another) look at my car.
  6. Unidentified part in driveway

That makes sense. Could be from my wife's car, although the place I found it in doesn't really work too well for that. If anyone recognizes it, let me know :) Here's another picture.
  7. Unidentified part in driveway

Hi everyone, can anyone identify the attached rusty piece of a part (AA battery for scale) from my 2021 Ranger? Found what you see on the photo and more pieces like it in my driveway. Completely rusty, breaks by just picking it up. Thanks!
  8. Hello from Europe

Perfect, I will take some more useful pictures than the ones I have and do that :)
  9. Tranny dipstick not going in

I got it!! Instead of moving it really carefully and wiggling / turning, I put the handle in the same position it was in before and just moved it in one go. Not too strongly, but strong enough to get some bend in the dipstick. Just when I wanted to stop it jerked on and now it's back in. Pretty...
  10. Hello from Europe

Thank you for the welcome! @SenorNoob that's a good idea! What's the best place to post such pictures? I'm interested to learn about the differences, too.
  11. Tranny dipstick not going in

I've tried 180 and all the other degrees, it fells like...
  12. Tranny dipstick not going in

My first help thread here is kind of... awkward: I can't get the transmission fluid dipstick back in :cautious: I swear I've tried for a straight hour, getting not so helpful tips from the neighbour :D With a bit of wigglind and turning it's going in well at first - except for the last bit...
  13. Hello from Europe

Hi everyone, I've recently bought a Ford Ranger Wildtrak over here in Germany. Loving it so far! You guys seem to be the definitive resource on this car, so I need to be here, too ;-)
