I have the 1895 in 45-70. I'm not sure which end of it I would rather be on with hot loads! If you shoot at something, it is likely to scare it to death whether you hit or not. Recoil definitely gets your attention with Buffalo Bore rounds!
If it would get me free weapons, I'd gladly be a spokesperson but no way am I moving to Florida. They can't pay me enough! Yes it is a bullpup design. Personally, I think it needs a second barrel as well...

7mm-08. All the stopping power you'll ever need in a handgun! Consealability is a bit of an issue though...
My normal carry gun is a Glock 36. Light, compact and packs the punch of a 7 shot (with on in the pipe) 45. If I feel the need for something more compact, I have a KelTec P-11. 12 rounds of 9mm in a smaller package than the Glock. If I'm feeling particularly surly I have a Springfield V-10 1911...
