98' 3.0 to 03'
I got a 93 3.0 motor to replace the 98 that blew up. There are some differences between the two correct? What needs to be changed over between the two? I know the intake manifold is different and I believe the valve covers, I'm not sure if everything will go together with the newer stuff or not...- DavePolyakov

1998 Ranger, I need a motor!
Hi guys, first time owner of something other than an 80's Volvo. Picked this up for $400, 1998 extended cab, 3.0 with a newly rebuilt manual transmission and 4X4. The motor has a real nasty knock. I'm currently on the hunt to replace the 3.0. I'm considering the 4.0's as well but I'm unsure if...- DavePolyakov
