Im new to the thread. I have a 94 ranger 4.0 with the a4ld transmission. I want to manual swap it so I'm looking for a cheap parts truck. My question is what is the different years can I get that will bolt straight up and plug straight up? Any information will help. Thanks- Kliff

I have a 94 mazda b4000 witch is the same as a ranger. I have no over drive and I've changed fluid and filter along with solenoid. I plan on rebuilding it. I read that I can put new 5R55E internals in it and it would work. Or should I just put new upgraded A4LD parts back. I so what should I...- Kliff
