    electric to manual 1354 T-case

Thanks to all who answered when I sought advice on getting rid of my electric 1354. I located a manual 1354 with the adapter and shift intact. I installed it over several days without removing my adapter which had the same bolt bosses. I'm happy with the result.

    1354 fitment

Thanks for all the responses. I have a 1354 with an electric shift and the coupler has the journals for the manual set-up plus the floor is built for either. That is what I'll do.

    1354 fitment

Thanks Eric. I figured I'd have to change the whole set-up or go with Behemoth's adapter.

    1354 fitment

Hi folks, Can you tell me if the linkage for a manual shift 1354Tcase will adapt easily........to an electric shift 1354Tcase? If so does the electric-shift adapter have to change or does it have the manual shifter-mounting journals on it?

Hi folks, I thot I'd join and learn more.

I'm looking for opinions as to an automatic conversion to my '96 XLT Ranger. 4.0L. This truck isn't traveled in beyond 50miles from where I live. It is mostly an errand and bush runner for hunting. I've owned it about 8 years and am tired of the standard trans. The T-case is a switch style which...
