Thanks to all who answered when I sought advice on getting rid of my electric 1354. I located a manual 1354 with the adapter and shift intact. I installed it over several days without removing my adapter which had the same bolt bosses. I'm happy with the result.
Eric....I launched at 9600rpm....not exaggerating.... and it settled at 7700 in the run. The launch rpm was when it jumped up off of all 4 and took off. She was all old school balanced, rollered, ported, studded top & bottom, etc etc etc...
I had a 22year old girl drag her beau over to it, place him in front opposite side, and ask for me to take a picture with her camera. She was repeatedly saying, "see, he knows what it is!!!" I asked her what year psyche she was in and she said 4th. We laughed a bunch and made a lot of cracks...
Thanks for all the responses. I have a 1354 with an electric shift and the coupler has the journals for the manual set-up plus the floor is built for either. That is what I'll do.

Can you tell me if the linkage for a manual shift 1354Tcase will adapt easily........to an electric shift 1354Tcase?
If so does the electric-shift adapter have to change or does it have the manual shifter-mounting journals on it?
