So this past weekend I replaced my stock injectors with 17# ones. The truck has 223k on it. At the same time, I replaced my spark plugs and wires. I already checked and the wires are correct.
The truck runs good, but my vacuum was down after the replacement. It usually idled at 19 inHg and now...
So I found this on www.ford-trucks.com this morning. It is a catalog showing all the different types of electrical connectors Ford uses along with the part numbers. With all the conversion people are doing on TRS, some of you may find this useful. Probably could hurt to download a copy anyway...
You could put a lot of horsies behind it without fear of breaking the axles...
The only thing that comes to mind is the weight of each axle. You are gonna need some motor to get those spinning, especially for a DD. Also consider the increase in track width.
Nice :icon_thumby:
I'd recommend looking at these to give you a better idea on where to go from here:

Well I have finely decided to start a build thread for my Ranger. I have been messing around with it since 2005...
Hey Guys,
Does anyone have one of these on their Ranger or other truck. I think it would be perfect to haul my ATV around. They are a bit pricey, but look very useful. Any thoughts?

I have a 94 2.3L Ranger with power steering. When I drive, the steering wheel doesn't completely re-center after making a turn. For instance, I use to be able to make a right turn and coming out of the turn, the wheels would straighten themselves out. Now, I have to direct them in the straight...
I am considering this lift for my Ranger this summer. Anyone have a pic of a 93 - 97 SB/SC Ranger with this lift and no body lift??? Thanks!
PS: I went through the lift and tire sticky and couldn't find one...
I stumbled across this on youtube and I thought it would be an interesting topic on here.

Jim, whatever happened to the TRS Fab part? I remember you were producing the winch bumper and the differential cover and such? Why didn't they ever some out?
I am putting in a new axle and it needs shock mounts put on. I was going to use these: http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/paired-bracket-p-43.html
The problem is that they mount 90 degrees from the stock mounts. I mean that the bolt that goes through perpendicular to the axle instead...
I am swapping an 8.8 28 spline into my ranger that has the 7.5. First off, are the axle tubes the same diameter? Second, I have new 9" brakes on my 7.5. Can I swap back plates to put those on the 8.8? I don't want to buy more brake crap, thats why I am voting against the 10" brakes. Thanks!
I want to take off my fender flares to paint them. Do the use those stupid clips you can't put back in after you take them out? Is there a trick to removing them? I don't want to paint them while they are on my truck. Thanks!
I took an independent study in microcontrollers with concentration in robotics at college this past semester. I bought a remote control airsoft tank for the chassis and removed everything but the motors. I designed, built, and programmed the whole thing. (Motor controller with speed controls and...
Quick question, my dad's 99 Ranger with 10" drums wheel cylinder is leaking. I have replacements for my 94 Ranger with 9" drums. Can I use the 9" wheel cylinder on the 10" brakes? I know this may sound like an obvious question, but I compared the 2 cylinders side be side and there is no visible...
