Around here $6k for that truck would be a very fair and reasonable price, assuming there are no rust issues and there's no bad engine noise.
It looks like there may be rust at the rear wheel openings where the flares meet the paint, also while wheels can be replaced, bad corrosion probably...
Up for auction March 19th in Columbia, MO at Copart, 93K miles, manual 4WD, it is an A4LD, but who cares in this condition...

I wish I had the time and money to go get this thing.
Been a while since I have posted, but back in December I came across a 1994 Explorer XLT 4x4 at a tow yard auction completely by chance and decided to bid on it. I got it for $250.
Obviously it was really rough, but most of the remaining ones here are rough anyway, and this one is 4WD...
What started as a tire rotation has turned into redoing the rear brakes on my 1994 Ranger 4x4 with an 8.8 28 spline rear axle and 10" drums.
The previous owner did something before I got the truck to bang up the driver's side backing plate. Whatever they did also took a chunk out of the lip...
I have a 1994 4.0L manual 4WD that has a weird issue at idle.
When I let off the gas, RPM will often drop very low (below 500 RPM on the tach, almost to "0" at times), sometimes almost to the point of stalling. The truck never does stall, and seems to smooth out and idle normally or almost...
It has been a while since I have been on this board. I still have the 2002 3.0 2WD I had when I was a regular poster, and it is still my DD. I recently bought a second truck though...this one a 1994 STX 4.0 reg cab manual, with a manual t-case, and manual hubs. Runs great. Bone stock. It...
I'm away from home visiting relatives and I need to change the thermostat. I noticed that the gasket is leaking some and there is a visible split. I don't have my tools, so I was wondering if anyone knew for sure what size the bolts are on the thermostat housing and on the plastic throttle body...
Just a heads up for anyone who might be looking for a first gen GT. I saw a white one for sale at a house on Nations Ford Rd. in Charlotte, NC. It looked a little rough, but complete. I didn't get the street number, but if I go that way again I'll try.
Today while I was driving the "check fuel cap" light came on. The gas cap was on. There are no visible leaks. I did not notice a fuel smell around the gas cap or filler neck, but I did notice a faint fuel smell around the vapor canister.
I'm going to try replacing the gas cap first just to...
I got a ScanGaugeII for my truck. I added the HP gauge following the directions on the ScanGauge website.
I took the truck out to give it a try, and the HP gauge got to a high of 179 HP. I did multiple WOT runs to see if it was a fluke, but each time the HP gauge had no problem going into the...
I ordered a new Motorcraft cam sync online. By the time it arrived, it had fallen out of the Motorcraft box and into the main box.
I noticed when inspecting it that there seems to be a tiny bit of play in the shaft. Is this okay or normal? The gear isn't moving on the shaft, it's the...
My truck has a little over 64K miles on it. Today when I started it there was a chirping noise, characteristic of a failing cam synchronizer. Has anyone had one fail at such low miles? The noise went away by the time I pulled out of the parking lot, but it still seemed like it was coming from...
I am looking for a picture of a 98-00 Ranger towing a 5th wheel camper. It was posted either here, on RF, or on RPS years ago. I can't remember which. Anyone have it?
Well, the carbine is not the same as their pistols.
Mine has never jammed or had any problems. If it does have some kind of problem, the lifetime warranty will take care of it.
No big car parts chains carry G-05 (yellow / gold) antifreeze. Why is that? Millions of vehicles use it. Fords, Chryslers, many imports... It makes sense to make it available.
I did a drain and fill of my truck's radiator today. The ONLY parts store with G-05 was NAPA. NAPA had plenty of...
Hey everyone, I know I don't get on this board much these days, but I thought this was kind of interesting. While browsing Ford's Brazil website, I came across their new Sport trim level for the Ranger. It isn't quite like ours...there is a factory D44 rear end and outboard shocks.
Keep in...
