    I have a 1990 ford ranger and i swapped a manual in

Let's clarify some stuff: Do you have a clutch pedal switch? When exactly did the engine start running rough? Edit: I am headed to bed. Goodnight;)👍😴

    I have a 1990 ford ranger and i swapped a manual in

If you have the switch, then plug it in. If I recall correctly, that shouldn't be needed to run right.

    I have a 1990 ford ranger and i swapped a manual in

So the question is: was the rebuild job a good one? Is the transmission the problem or the engine? If the 2004 is an SOHC, then no. If it is an OHV I don't know If you have a switch then put it in( the connector is there to hook it up), if not then I would hook up the neutral safety switch...

If it had the a4ld, the nss wires are in the five-pin plug that went to the automatic.

You need a reverse light pigtail and then you splice that into two of the wires(purple/orange and black/pink) that come out of the 5-pin connector at the trans. One is nothing to worry about, and the other two( I don't recall off-hand the colors) are the neutral safety switch(If you plug them in...

    Weird lever

My '89 ranger, my '89 BrII, and my sister's two 92 explorers have that style fuse box. Edit: Her '91 has that style but her '92 does not.

Are bronco 2 really prone to flipping easily?

I don't know, but 85 MPH in my '89 BrII with a 4.0 still feels pretty stable without wind, with wind 60 MPH is more where I like to be. On gravel I try to stay in the 50's though. (I do have the D35 and an 8.8)
