How do you guys get rid of used coolant? There's a place by me that takes hazardous materials as a community cleanup thing. But it's only open a few months a year so I have to hold on to all of it till it opens again
Well my friends and I always drive garbage so he's not helpless on the wrenches ya know. We horse trade alot and all of our stuff leaks something just how it is ya know. It's normal to ask for a tractor, mini ex, truck, etc. And be told it's fine just check the fluids before you take it.
So a buddy needed my truck for an afternoon. Cool just check the fluids. Says he added some coolant but I think my 07 f150 takes that special gold coolant. And ya can't mix green and gold can you? Anyway can't be too mad at the dude he didn't know and did what I asked. Oh well do I need to...
There is a smaller town near my house with a few machine shops I've worked in but they are 15-20min away
Interesting what did they use for the line filters? And I think that one guy is on to something with the UPS idea which is unlimited power supply if Im not wrong?
I'd like to get there...
Here's what I want to run with the backup genset.
Wood stove blower
Propane powered tankless water heater so just the switches and the microprocessor that are internal maybe?
Well pump 240v
Maybe the furnace but I'd like to just use the wood burner, furnace is propane
Medium size chest...
From what I've read about generators the inverter ones make A/C power then convert to D/C then back to A/C like a scrubber ya know. All the other ones just make A/C power. And the generator head makes tiny voltage spikes the ride those main some waves cause small variations in power. It's hard...
I don't plan on my fridge texting me when we need milk so just a basic fridge freezer don't even want the water in the door. But I will have a decent TV maybe the kid wants to watch a movie when the powers out idk.
if I change the box it's gonna cost an arm and a leg while the house is...
So I wanna buy a generator but. I read that a inverter genset is best for sensitive electronics. But if im running a gen set to power my house I don't exactly plan on having internet or watching TV really. So why would I need a special genset? I was looking at one that claimed less than 5% total...
A Buddy just picked up 95 f150 2wd short bed 5spd with a 5.0l. he says it's hard to get 1st when your stopped from neutral but if you go 2nd then 1st it's no problem.
Think shifter bushings would make a difference? Or just worn out shift forks
Im thinking that theres something to what this guys getting at. Some type of cross between tiny Arduino ECM and a carb.
The benefits of which I'm not certain of right this minute. Perhaps ease of use?
Maybe a 2.3l would be a better candidate for it?
This is what impresses me the most. What us common folk are capable of doing these days. It's insane like imagine what the cost would be for something like this 40 years ago.
This is what I can't get through my Mellon. The differences between this and a regular carb economy wise.
