    Possible Headlight Swap for '99

I was referring to the headlight housing, not the bulb. They look the same but I guess they aren't. Thanks

    Possible Headlight Swap for '99

Will the headlights from a 2001 fit on a 1999? All the ads I see show lights for '98-2000 but 2001 ads don't include any lower years.

    Brighter Headlights?

Thank for your insights on the lighting. Like I mentioned, the electrical is fine. The housings are clear as a bell, replaced them a while back. I did see one light has much lower illumination that the other. It might just be time for new bulbs. I don't do much night driving but I like to be...

    Ford Broke My Heart Today

I didn't say there was anything wrong with upgrading or modifying your machine. Do what you want. If you think that you can make it better than the factory did, go ahead, but it ain't the original. Lord knows there are a million ways to improve on the newer stuff for sure. I just like the old...

    Brighter Headlights?

I noticed the other night that the headlights on my '99 Ranger XLT are not very bright at all. They are the standard replacement headlights you can get most anywhere. I kinda figured it would be no big deal cuz I could just buy a set of brighter (more lumens or wattage) lamps, but this doesn't...

    Ford Broke My Heart Today

Some of you are too funny. I found the 'Bushings' now called body mounts to my 'Extend Cab' now called supercab as you mention, from aftermarket sellers and such online. Ford doesn't make them anymore. The younger generations may want to change everything including what its called but that...

    Ford Broke My Heart Today

This morning I called several auto parts stores looking for the body to frame chassis bushings for the cab rear of my 1999 Ranger Extend Cab. No one knew anything or could tell me anything, just a bunch of young kids clicking keys and going by a computer with no parts knowledge or experience...

    Wiring 1999 Ranger

Thanks guys. I do have airbags, don't know about the sensors, I haven't looked real hard at that but I do have dual airbags with a key switch to turn off the passenger side under the dash. I checked your link, RonD and that looks to have a female connector. The jacks in question have the same...

    Wiring 1999 Ranger

Thanks for your reply. I don't think it has ABS brakes. Nope, no cables or wires to the steering knuckle. It has power front disc and rear drum brakes. I thought only the 4 x 4 had the anti-lock brake system. Mine's 2 wheel drive.

    Wiring 1999 Ranger

Hello and good day, Does anyone know what these plug jacks are for? On the front my '99 Ranger behind the bumper are two jacks, one to the left and one to the right. The plug jacks are round and go to nothing. I was assuming that they must go to the fog lights, an option which apparently was...
