I believe most guys run the stock springs. Your factory ones maybe just worn out and cant support the extra weight

Thanks. I guess I'll change them also. One other thing, are there any direct swaps other than Bronco 11 for the rear differential?

A 8.8 from a 4.0 ranger will work. But youre not really gaining much strengthwise. An explorer 8.8 is a common upgrade also but it requires flipping the spring shackles...but it does gain you some strength with having 31 spline instead of 28 spline axle shafts

Assuming youre gonna wheel it id be more worried about the dana 28 front axle then the 7.5 rear.

It's an 84 I'm staying with the C-5. I can probably find a 89-80 B11 with the bigger front rear end. What else is a direct swap? Thanks again

A dana 35 from a explorer or 4.0 ranger is what most guys use

I have a 93 Ranger 4.0 5 speed less the body here. It has a bent frame. Will this front end fit the Bronco 11? Or what modes will I have to make?

I'll do some research to see what I can find out. Maybe someone on the forum will let me know. Thanks for your help.

I put Skyjacker 2" lift coils on my 1992 and they worked great to put it back to stock height (old coils were dead) with the 5.0 swap.

Thank you. I would say these are too!
