I hate a 2002 ranger with 60/40 bench seat up front, I’ve been trying to find some covers for the seat that aren’t super expensive. Will a normal universal seat cover work or do I need special fitted 60-40 covers?

To get covers that fit, you have to go semi custom. No universal cover is made to work on the 60/40 seat. So, there is no inexpensive option.

The cheapest way is to convert to a 40/40 by cutting out the middle. Then buy Wally World seat covers. There are a few threads on here about converting them, and then adding in a console. @Dirtman is even giving away for free a console that he made for this very application.

The easiest way it to buy seat covers for $80/$100 that fit, call it a day.

LMC Truck. Go look at the seat covers they offer. Have them installed in my 1990 Ranger 60/40 split
