New strains are emerging just like the flu. They already know the vaccine is not permanently effective. High estimates are about 1 year of protection so I have a feeling this will be a couple more years of new vaccines and it will never totally go away but most likely become like the flu in the respect that it will need to be managed yearly with updated vaccines and treatments. The current vaccine should get it under control and get us out of "pandemic" state, but it will still need to be managed and maintained for quite some time.

If the vaccine reduces the chance of that person getting sick enough to need a hospital then that leaves more open beds at the hospital for those that need the beds

So bottom line, its DOES HELP others

A vaccine is like a helmet when riding a bike or motorcycle, but just in one respect, if you don't wear a helmet then that shows you don't really need one because the helmet is worn to protect your brain, and your brain doesn't need protection if you don't want to wear a helmet, pretty simple

So if you don't want a vaccine then you don't need one, nothing of value to protect, pretty simple

Is not the same as the FDA saying that people aren't protecting others by vaccinating. Particularly when the article is from five months ago and there is far, far more evidence demonstrating that it does precisely that.

Studies in both Israel and the UK have demonstrated significant reduction in both asymptomatic and symptomatic cases.

Here's another one showing decreased viral load with vaccinated populations.

The statements you keep claiming as fact are reliably absurd. It's beyond time for you to reconsider where you get your news.

Um, less people are dying? Then again with 565,000 + dead, there are less people to die. I got my first last Friday. Arm sore for 3 days, poopy for 5 days. I guess it hasn't killed me yet, so what the heck. And didn't we used to get our dogs vaccinated and people innoculated? Man I'm gettin' old. Hey maybe those childhood shots worked. No polio, mumps, rubella, etc.
