I replaced my creaking lower ball joints last year, they were Moog problem solvers with less than 50k on them and totally shot. Used Mevotech supreme ball joints and they’re worn out 13 months and 18k miles later.

I’m looking at Motorcraft ball joints, they’re $55 a piece but I’ll be happy if I get even 90-100k out of them like I did the factory ones.

I’ve also heard good things about Proforged, I may give them a shot. Whatever I go with, I really don’t want to do this again next year.

My credo
I poop in the furnace.
Moog use to be an awesome company, they are now chinese crap.

TRW is still decent in my experience. If you can find them dana/spicer stuff is usually OEM quality but they aren't always sold under their own name.

Well, I replaced almost the entire front end in July 2018 with NAPA parts. Upper and lower control arms with heavy duty ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends and new boots. Haven't had another issue with them yet. My originals lasted from 1998 to 2018. But they sure weren't pretty when removed. LOL!!

And yeah, the roads in Oklahoma suck. They are ball joint busters. Crossing over railroad tracks here will jar the fillings out of your teeth if you don't slow down for them.
