In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
If you make em flap, might end up taking off...that could end up requiring a pilot's license.
Many people out there can barely drive...think of what would happen if they could now fly !!! :icon_surprised:

Always had a kill switch in the truck, on the starter relay. Today a friend of mine made me a lil relay gizmo whatever and we put it on the brake switch. If the switch is "ON" the truck will start but die the second you take your foot off the brake. I kinda like this cause it makes stealing the truck more confusing lol. If they can get passed the PATS system they can have fun wondering why the truck shut off...

the grey-t escape
I didnt get much done today at all, parts for my front caliper / flex line replacement came today, I even ordered extra line nuts , even though I know I have enough *somewhere*. Took the front tires off and put jackstands under the frame, was about to start pulling the old calipers & lines off when I noticed after looking through the parts I ordered, no banjo bolts. wth? I thought you always got new banjo bolts with new flex lines, guess not, but I got plenty of copper washers, both the calipers & lines came with a set of washers, I doubt my original banjo bolts will be ok, everything else is original and a rusty mess. So I worked on the wheel horse today and its ready whenever I need it. Still looking for a deck, changed out the rotted tires and gave it a tune up & new battery. It has much narrower tires on it now, esp the fronts. ( and I came across my supply of brake line flare nuts during the wheel horse project)

Those of us who back up using our mirrors, though, will find that difficult. It's necessary to see the corners of your own vehicle.
Easy enough to overcome, lean toward the mirror you need to look out of. I've been doing it for years.

installed new fuel pump in fuel tank, torched a superfluous bracket off the frame, hooked up and adjusted the parking brakes and put the rear tires back on.

And tried and failed to remove the rear bumper. Needs a bigger impact and possibly heat...

I’m showing off my photoshop skills... don’t you see I colorized the tree in the background?

Once I get good at photoshop, I’m going to post some railroad pics.

They had some extra gravel at work, so I offered to take some... apparently I have 1200lb springs since it sank a LOT and was GUTLESS. Went by the weigh station on the way home just for S&G and on the truck axles was 4900lb then 750lb on the trailer axle with just 4 12' 2x6's, so like 100lb of wood, 650lb of normal trailer axle weight, 3700lb of normal Ranger weight I think the math works to about 1200lb of gravel in the bed in the attached picture...

In other words, that combined weight is with 4 people in a V8 second gen explorer with 4 occupants and maybe a cooler... braking was fine on the Ranger but holy gutless pig :)

Race it - Break it - Fix it - Repeat
Racing this weekend so I dropped it back down on the garage floor again - transbrake never got installed, gear swap didn't happen and rear disc brake conversion still not done. Also got the car trailer cleared off and put the winch battery on trickle charge.

Crossed threads are tight threads.
I placed an empty glass jar with a big lid behind the seat. For peeing in on long road trips.
